CONNECT is a free three-day arts festival spanning the intersection of visual + performing art, designed objects, film, music, fashion and literary culture. Conceived by Eric Williams (The Silver Room) in collaboration with the University of Chicago, CONNECT joins the heart of Hyde Park with the pulse of Chicago's existing arts community.

The three-day event opens with a Friday evening reception and continues through Sunday evening in three distinct exhibition spaces and multiple storefronts and restaurants Hyde Park. The experience includes live performances, DJs, independent film programs, and pop up experiences allowing the audience the opportunity to explore and engage with leading-edge contemporary art and design constructed and curated by some of Chicago's leading artists, curators and art institutions. It's been a couple years since Vick Lavender released a Chicago Fusion project. The latest installment features three brand new joints with the usual suspects plus bonus tracks.
